The Inimitable Mr. Dickens. It was a 1970 movie. Hopkins played Dickens. Can't find it anywhere. Too bad. I bet it's pretty good.

I really like that movie where he murders his wife and guy from bladerunner 2049 is a hotshot upstart prosecutor who has to crack his immaculate crime. Good time.

Fracture.

My wife was trying to find that to watch today.

It’s underrated.

I'd never heard of that, but a couple of years ago I watched this:

Michael Jayston (Nicholas & Alexandra) plays Dickens. I thought it odd there would two Dickens bios in 1970, then I realized it was the 100th anniversary of his death.

If you're only interested in Hopkins, have you seen War & Peace (BBC, 1972)?

Thanks. I couldn’t remember the name. And apologies for bumping a weird days old thread just first time I checked my replies

And yea I agree. Extremely underrated. Anyone who hasn’t seen it should go watch it. Knowing he murders his wife isn’t a spoiler you’re told that like 15 min in.
