re: Can I get a baw's review of F4? RT does nothing for me

Honest review: I hoped for more with the FF’s debut in the MCU. They do a great job of introducing the characters without spending too much time on origins.

The story starts off interesting but the end didn’t deliver for me. Like the Infinity Gauntlet, Galactus is nowhere near as powerful as he should be, but that would be hard to cover in two hours.

The casting was pretty good, even with Pascal, although this version of Reed Richards isn’t 100% on point. Thing finally looks like Thing, and the retro futurism works. Silver Surfer didn’t come across as woke, nor did the film.

Overall, a lackluster storyline for such a grand entrance of huge characters. I won’t touch on the post credits, etc.
