People should appreciate what he does by going to see his movies, not by interrupting his life for his signature or his picture. And yes, I know he makes millions from those people watching his products, but he doesn't owe them a sig or pic, and they are not part of the job.

If I had the power I could not in good conscious ever convict a celebrity that beat the frick out of a paparazzi.

I agree with all of the people siding with Cameron. Why would anybody be walking thru an airport with an Avatar poster anyway?He just happened to be at Cameron's gate? Sure. The "fan" looked like a plant, just trying to get a reaction, and was probably working hand in hand with the paparazzi....errr scum of the Earth.

While we would all like to think that we would sign every autograph/take every picture that fans wanted, most wouldn't. It would get old pretty fast to be hounded every time you stepped out in public.
