Right? And they weren't like latex gloves or anything. Those were those thick leather gloves...so he goes in one motion from waving to pulling out the gun to putting a bullet on target from a respectable distance....I want to say there is more to Todd than meets the eye.

damn, that was a great episode.
I don't think Walt cares about the innocence of a child anymore. He has broken bad completely, it seems. He accomodates Jesse because Jesse is useful to him. He spares lives if it makes sense to, takes them if it doesn't. jmo.
I actually kinda miss the Walt with a few redeeming characteristics...still love the character though.

I think the show is heading to Walt killing Jesse.
Jesse is pretty close to breaking down completely and I imagine the only option will be for Walt to kill him.

Jesse and Mike are going to turn against Walt, and Skyler is on the verge of a total breakdown and spilling the beans to Marie. Perhaps Todd becomes Walt's new partner, as somebody already mentioned. Things are not going to end well is the only thing certain about this show.

I'm at the point where I won't even be sad if Walt bites a bullet. Just had enough of his arrogance and pushing the limit and always getting away with it. I was a fan of his no matter how much of an a-hole he was up until this season. He is just BRC OOC now. My dream is for him and Skylar to meet their maker with Walt Jr. peeling out in his new ride with all the discretionary income from Walt's work. Throwing hundos out the window.
Oh and that kid needed to be dealt with, don't care how cold hearted it was. It was made abundantly clear to Todd that there was to be no loose ends on this job. Hes a cold hearted son of a bitch but he saved them some trouble. And I do think there is more to him than meets the eye.

Walt's death is inevitable, imo, but as evil as he has gotten, i think i will still be a little sad to see him go

Yeah I guess Ill be a little sad to see him go. He had the right intentions from the start. What Vince has done with his character transformation has been remarkable. Its going to be a character that is put up there with the best of them when its all said and done.

Awesome episode.
Did anyone notice that Walt kept pumping past the mark they had planned on? They said 902 gallons, but he pumped past 1000, until it was spilling over.
I really don't think he will give a damn about the kid. When Lydia asked him if he had kids, he laughed at the assertion that he would give a damn about her and her kids.
Walt has totally gone over to the other side. It has blinded him and he is being more careless and risky. He kept pumping after Mike told him to cut it off. He is wearing the flashy watch and driving a pimp mobile. All signs point to arrogance being the cause of his downfall. That is why I think it won't happen. It seems too obvious at this point.

Without a doubt. Vince really has created a special character. Can't say enough about the job done by Bryan Cranston either.

Has this show ever said why Hank's wife is obsessed with the color purple?

How did he save them some trouble? That little kid probably thought Walt, et al, were simply working on the railroad and would have gone about his business of catching spiders. Now we're going to have people looking for, and finding, a dead kid. I'm sure they'll also find the empty tanks buried under the railroad trestle. So now you not only have the DEA and APD looking for "Heisenberg," you're going to have the railroad cops looking for him as well. Totally stupid move on Turd's part.

what if somehow they notice that some of the methylamine was stolen? They go sniffing around, and now there's a witness that has seen Walt and Jesse's faces.
I think they're gonna get rid of those.

Perhaps, but it's hard to get rid of two holes deep enough to accommodate 1,000 gallon tanks with trace evididence of methylamine on the ground. Regardless it was a stupid, careless move by Todd that's going to have grave consequences in the future.
I also wonder why the crew didn't wear PPE. Walt seems to be a stickler for personal protection.

You are right. I forgot about the differences in weight. It was obvious though that Walt didn't give a damn about Jesse getting ran over by train. He just wanted his methylamine.

Todd is dead after what he did to that boy and Jesse is going to pull the trigger.

I actually thought Todd was going to fall off and get killed. Now I wish he had.

I don't doubt this. Jesse has a very soft spot for kids, and has shown this all the back to Skank and Spooge's little boy. This may be Jesse's turning point away from the meth business.

I think Walt and Jesse end up taking out Mike at some point. Mike and Jesse are buddies now but Walt is the father figure Jesse has never had.
I wonder if the spider in the jar will be left behind by accident? Also thought it was creepy as hell when the kid picked it up with his hand.
The woman scares me. I think she ends up being a rat. Women always frick it up for the drug dealers (blow, goodfellas, casino)

Jesse came from a very good home.

Ok, guess i worded that wrong. His dad excommunicated him from the family. His dad never seemed to approve of anything Jesse did, so that's why he is always trying to impress Walt.
