obviously all of that could not have been done in 2 hours, actually the tractor showing up, digging the holes, burying the shite, ect., is probably at least an entire day deal.
And they did this before she called....it was pretty obvious...but I was kinda drunk so I might be remembering different. Like I don't remember this being how it ended

So, nobody thinks the dude who helped out on the tracks has been in any other episode? Dude looks familiar, but then again ... (you can fill in the blank I don't want to get banned)
The dude that shot the kid works for the "Pest Control" company that was tenting/gassing houses which Walt & Jesse started cooking in during the tenting phase.

you responded with this, but
I wasn't talking about him, I was talking about the guy in the pickup truck who stopped to help.

He was the fake chemical inspection agent who came and talked to he former car wash owner. Skylar had a wire in his ear and was telling him what to say, basically that the car wash owner was not properly disposing of his chemicals...
shite never mind. I thought you were talking about the guy who was helping Walt and Jesse and mike... Muh bad

Also remember when they were burying the tanks and had the tanker truck of water out there Walt asks Todd "On the day, you'll be ready?"
So obviously they prepped a couple days minimum ahead of time.

I'm at the point where I won't even be sad if Walt bites a bullet. Just had enough of his arrogance and pushing the limit and always getting away with it. I was a fan of his no matter how much of an a-hole he was up until this season.
I think this is the general consensus which leads me to believe the writers will find a way to make Walt come out looking good. Whether its him sacrificing himself for his kids or whatever I just dont see Walt going out as "the bad guy".

That guy does resemble the Indian that pulled the Winnebago out of the ditch w/ his tractor.

Yeah, not really sure where the confusion is coming in about this

Right before Todd pulled the gun, I heard the kid whisper, "Tyra is with me now".

so really, in order for this to work unless they had incredible luck the first time is they went a few Wednesdays to get the right position on the train car. but, in the next scene, after the call, they seem to be scrambling with the tractor digging the hole.
i don't think the position of the train car is a big deal. maybe they got the chance to see the train once, but that is about all it would take.
i'm just guessing here, so if someone knows better, i'd be happy to listen. But a train isn't like the local ups truck just hauling around whatever someone happened to order off of amazon. the methlymine runs on a schedule and i'd think that the vast majority of the train's other freight does too so that the train's configuration would be fairly consistent. they'd only need to see the train once to get a good idea of about where on the train the right car will be. also, there may be some sort of general guidelines with trains about where certain types of cargo should be located.
the bridge is a nice bonus as it makes it easy for walt and company to hide, but it isn't really necessary. i'm sure the gravity assist is nice, but isn't necessary since they have to pump the water up anyway.

So is Mike slipping a bit?
He didn't spot the kid on the dirtbike, and they didn't plan for unexpected traffic. The other 2 guys in the pest company could have been set up on both sides of the track a mile or so away to flag down any traffic or shoot any BIA agents or county cops that just happen to roll up un-announced on patrol.
Of course if they did any of that the episode would have been shite,
gotta have some drama and hijinxs in there. Was a great ep. Glad they followed up last week w/ some action and dirty work.

Agree. I think they noticed that the liquid carriers were at the rear of the cargo line and measured from the spot of the dump truck breakdown to where the liquid carriers would roughly be.
They then just needed to know which carrier had the methyllamine (sp).

Did anyone notice the train sound in the opening when the kid was picking up the tarantula? I didn't, but a friend of mine said his wife did. I'll have to rewatch.
