I could see this. Other than Todd the Nazis really don't want to cook since they have the money. Lydia is about to have no reliable cook and no muscle. Juarez Cartel taking back over seems likely, even if it is not a part of the script.

Anyone have the gif of Hank rising from the ground?
Posted on 9/24/13 at 8:15 pm to DawgCountry
No, but where is Huell?
You know he took a few handfuls of that money.

He's still at the safe house slowly consuming the DEA agent for nourishment.

The only way for there to be blue meth in Europe is if it WAS that purity. What don't you get?
The blue has nothing to do with the purity, but the chemical used to make the meth.

Not the chemical or purity, but the way it's cooked. Todd was using the same chemicals but overcooking or whatnot.
This is chemistry. Degrees matter.

The "purity" depends on the way it is cooked, right? So it's a combination of both the chemical and the purity.

The purity depends on the way it's cooked yes, but not the color. His first batch was clear. Just as pure.
In all reality p2p meth wouldn't be blue. It was just made blue to make Walt's product unique to the audience.

I think the justification is that Walt thinks up some special chemistry to eliminate the enantiomer of meth that doesn't get you high and that makes it blue
quote:
It's probable that the writers are simply taking liberties, but there is one, albeit unlikely, solution. And it might explain Walt's pride in his chemistry and his destructively protective regard for his formula: Walt somehow discovered a simple, cheap, and brilliant way to make the P2P cook enantiomerically pure. This might tie in the other mystery of Walt's cook: that the meth he makes is blue. "The color is also really odd," Parkinson says, "particularly because there aren't any impurities in the P2P process that would make it blue."

He didn't use methalomine on his first batch.
If the color didn't also depend on the purity, then all of Todd's batches would have been blue. From deductive reasoning, it has to be the combination of the methalomine and the purity.

Well Walt is a genius chemist, no doubts on that. Gale said he still couldn't figure out why it was blue, and in the last few episodes it's seemed to hinted that is comes into play from a heating process. The purity too.
Jesse was making 96% and now he's at 92%. But it's apparently still blue. If 3% was a huge "gulf", 7% is clearly inferior yet still maintains the color.

Yet people like gale are using p2p and can cook a batch at 96%, same as pinkman, but not blue. It's some step in Walt's process.

I thought Todd's batch hit 76 which Lydia was kinda content with but didnt have the color. Or is there another cool Im forgetting?

Walt links Heisenberg to GM, stock drops drastically, Walt buys shite ton of stock, comes out that he had nothing to do with it, stock rebounds and Whites are rich, bitch
What you write has to be part of it.
Walt told Saul his goals were to kill the NNs, get HIS money back and get it to his family. Saul made it clear that Walt getting money to them was impossible. So Walt has been thinking about that in particular.
He asks Vacuum man if he would get the money to his family when Walt is found dead, and is basically told no, he couldn't trust Vacuum man's word. This is the same scene played out earlier with Jesse when Walt thought his cancer had gotten worse and asked Jesse to get the money to his family upon Walt's death. Totally, Jesse says, you can completely trust me to do that. Walt believes him because he trusts Jesse (my word is my bond). Walt has often placed his trust in Jesse and told Gus that Jesse did what Walt told him to do. Trust.
Walt undoubtedly knows Jesse is alive from the GM/Charlie Rose interview and has probably inferred Jesse is their slave kept alive until the methylamine runs out. He also knows that Lydia has access to the NNs to run her European connection. He can also deduce that his money is where Jesse is, and where Lydia can go with relative ease. Hank needs both Lydia and Jesse to achieve his goals.
The last remaining problem for Walt is finding a scapegoat which can take enough guilt off of himself to completely exonerate his family so they can more easily gain access to his money.
A DVD similar to what he did to Hank with GM as the culprit would work well. Of course they funded the 28 million for drug rehab centers, it was drug profits they used. A lot like the late Gustavo Friend, meth kingpin and the community minded owner of The Chicken Brothers who was killed by a bomb detonated by a GM hit man to discourage cartel intrusion into GM's meth turf. When Eliot and Gretchen found out about Walt's cancer, they took the opportunity to trade out cancer treatment payments for the meth cooking services of the brilliant chemist, expert in crystalline structures, and then held him hostage through blackmail when he wanted to quit. And so on.
That story would sink GM's stock and make it an easy target for a cheap acquisition. Play the stock options the right way and someone could make untold millions from the company's downfall and its resurgence assuming that someone buys it cheap before the bankruptcy court gets involved.
Or, maybe nothing like that at all. By the way, anyone have an updated body count generated by Walt's turn to the dark side? It's got to be near 260 by now.
