How many NN do yall think there are? There are obviously plenty in prison and in other cities, but I've never seen more than 7-9 in Jack's group. At least that I can remember. I don't see why Walt couldn't lay an ambush for a group that size.

Not to mention Walt <<< a motivated Heisenberg.

Getting them clustered together is the big problem. It also depends on whether Walt's ambition is the whole group or just limited to Uncle Jack and Todd.
I'm beginning to agree with whoever mentioned that the gun may actually turn out to be some sort of diversion. Maybe he really wants (besides killing Jack) is to nuke the cash and the meth lab so everybody ends up losing big.

Nice tease. Save us the time; what is it?
I got thru on my 23rd call. " you have reached Best Quality vacuum repair and our hours are Tuesday-Saturday 10-6. If you need after hours repair please leave your name and # and we will get back to you with a quote. Thank you and have a nice day.". That may not be EXACTLY word for word but it's damn close and the voice is the dude that was on last weeks episode.

There sure seemed to be a lot of them when Jesse tried to climb that fence.

How is Walt going to "ambush" a mini military surrounded with fences and cameras? I could see an ambush if he gets them totally out in the open

i was so pumped when i saw him

I didn't say he would go all John McClain and storm their compound. I think he could lay a trap somewhere and mow em down. I really don't think it's Walt's style, but it's not like facing dozens of men. Catching 8 guys off guard and killing them with that gun is feasible IMO.

Damn I'm gonna be on a flight after the LSU-Georgia game and going to miss the finale live.

I think getting them all in the lab and then destroying it is the most likely scenario.

I posted to him once earlier explaining how dense he is, but he is still oblivious.
For his sake, I hope he was trolling.

I think somehow he gets free and in the end he gets his life straight and adopts Brock.
Except he's a wanted meth manufacturer and dealer.

I'm thinking they will announce something like "no commercials" or "limited commercial interruption".
I don't even see how this would be possible. For an audience like BB brings in, there is no way they are going to skip commercials. I hope I am wrong, but I just don't see it.

I just don't see how they can fit everything that needs to be fit in only about 55 minutes of TV.
It's going to be edge of your seat, nonstop action the whole episode.

On the official BB podcast, Vince Gilligan alluded to the fact that we aren't done with Gray Matter.
He also said Walt spent 4-5 months in the New Hampshire cabin.
He called it the "longest time jump in the history of the show".
Add that 4-5 months to the 4-5 months he was out of the business and not making his meth, there is no way that the blue meth surfacing now was made by Walt.
After hearing the statement by Charlie Rose, I feel that Walt knows Jesse is out there, still alive and cooking Heisenberg's blue meth.

Some of the basic cable shows for "major event" type of episodes have gone the sole sponsor route where there are no commercials except for the sponsor playing a two minute spot two or three times during the episode.
That seems doable. You have to remember, it's the best show on TV right now (and arguably ever) but the season premiere still pulled in half the rating that Duck Dynasty did.

There was an article in the NYT about how the final eight episodes are bringing in the highest commercial revenue in the history of AMC.
quote:LINK
“The ‘Breaking Bad’ finale on Sept. 29 could be the biggest original programming cable TV event since ‘The Sopranos’ finale in June 2007 — and those unsold units will get premium rates,” Mr. Adgate said.
Without specifying what those prices would be, a senior executive with knowledge of AMC’s sales plan said that the commercials remaining in what is known as the scatter market would be sold based on the most recent ratings information, and the expectation that those numbers would grow. (Its viewership in the important 18- to 49-year-old audience bracket, 3.6 million, beat CBS, NBC and ABC combined on Sunday; total viewership was 5.9 million.)
“What’s left will reflect the very high end of cable” pricing, said the executive, who spoke on the condition of anonymity to discuss AMC’s private financial plans. The figure would most likely reach the level that broadcast networks ask for hit shows, usually $200,000 to $300,000 for 30 seconds, a level cable shows rarely, if ever, approach, the executive said.
The executive said that “Breaking Bad” had already helped drive AMC’s total take in this year’s upfront market to record levels, approaching 20 percent above its previous high.
