He was just going to the house to drop a deuce and have a little nostalgia. Carol sees him and Walt remembers the ricin. BOOM Carol gets ricin'd while Walt eats her oranges.

Any estimates on the time lapse between the end of last night and the scene at Denny's to him arriving at his house? Has to be several weeks right?

However long it takes to drive 2200 miles in the Winter is my guess.

I thought it was in ABQ because didn't Weapons Guy ask if the weapon was leaving the state and Walt said something to the effect of that it wasn't even leaving the city?

I think Walt takes the ricin before everything goes down and they dies shortly after all the havoc

..with Jesse getting all the money to Walt's family somehow

he may even get the money to Gray Matter for safe keeping for his family, although that's a giant reach

'Breaking Bad' writer talks last night's episode, 'Granite State', and what it is that Walt has become.

My take, Gretchen and Elliot are the end game.

That can be done in 2 very long days, but I would suspect more like 4 or 5 in Walt's condition, perhaps even a whole week if he had to stop because he was sick or weak. Driving 2200 miles ain't no joke.

Of course they are. GM is what helped created Heisenberg. People saying GM won't matter much are crazy.

Walt uses ricin on Elliot and Gretchen. He uses the rest of the ricin on himself and storms the Nazi compound with the explosive meth that he used in Tuco's crib during season one. After doing heavy damage, he's cornered and wounded - but Huell shows up duel-wielding M60s. Jesse somehow rapes and kills Lydia right in front of Todd.

"The way I see it is that Heisenberg is gone. He keeps trying to kind of evoke the ghost of Heisenberg, the thrill of feeling powerful, and it’s not there. It’s gone. It died when Hank died. It’s just not there. It died when he saw baby Holly. And then in the end, what is happening in my mind, and obviously we’re leaving it up to the audience to some extent, in my mind, what’s happening is he’s becoming something new. And it’s not Walter White; It’s not Heisenberg; it’s something new."

Great read. I think their goal was to tie it all together, so he basically just said the GM timeline is not finished. No way this series ends with Walt dealing with the nazis who have only been around a few episodes. It has to be a group or individual who has been their since the beginning.

Walter is going to go out in a blaze of glory. He is going to go to the skinheads compound and cut loose with the machine gun in the back of the car. He got the ricin pill because he is going to take it if he survives the shoot out.

If you watch the two scenes where he first opens the trunk in the Denny's parking lot, then again opens it at his house, it seems the ammo (atleast one of them) is gone. But the gun is still in the same spot.

I kind of want to think he's gonna use the ricin on his 2 former partners that were doing the interview about him on tv.

No way he's just gonna blow that off.
