it seemed like Walt was a good bit out of town.
It said Albuquerque on the station.

There has to be something that draws him back. When he makes the call to exonerate Skylar, and then goes to the identity van, he knows that he can never make contact with his former world ever again. If he wanted to kill the Nazis for the money, he would have done that, and then contacted the identity van.
At the end of the last scene, I think he Walt was saying goodbye to his former world for good. There has to be something that is worth it for him to blow his new identity to come back. Which, when he does will more than likely result in his death, IMO.
excellent point about the call

I too wondered about the dog.
I took it as a coyote, they are in the suburbs of Albuquerque. As to why - maybe a reference to Wylie Coyote who always tries to win with his cunning and ends up blowing himself up. Just a WAG on that.

You're a doofus. Amber alert and they wouldn't find the baby 10 miles away when they report "Found baby in fire truck."
No, that's not suspicious at all. What's the chances it's the same baby.

This episode was such an overload of awesomeness that I keep forgetting that Hank died.

I'm still on Team Walt so it's probably just my wishful thinking that at least one member of Walt's family makes it to the grave without thinking he's complete shite.
Gotta admit that I kind of choked up when she started saying momma like that.

Can't be the same baby. The missing girl's name is Holly. This baby's clothes say that its name is Oshkosh B'Gosh.

I think Walt already knows what his final move is, he even said on the phone "I still have things to do". Not sure it is one specific thing that draws him back to New Mexico.
I am almost certain it will end with him making amends with Jesse.

That is sort of the theory I stated after the very first flash-forward scene of the diner where people say they think he may be wearing some sort of wire from the closeup on the clothing Walt's wearing. Man that seems so long ago.
Anyway, Most people thought he may have been wired by the police, but I went with the "Mr. White, science, yeah" theory of him making some sort of chemical explosive to end it all and make a statement.
I've said over and over throughout these threads that I was sticking with this theory, of which I think I may have been the first to offer, at least that I know of, to state.
And I'll be damned if it actually sort of looks that way now.

I'm gunna go out on a limb and say the dog means nothing. Just a nice little way to end the episode.

I think the dog symbolizes Jesse. Just a reminder to the audience that he will have a part to play in Walt coming back to Nm

What was Jessie blabbering about to Todd? "Go to his house to get it"? His (Jessie) confession tape?
