I like where the Skylar character is going. Walt missed the birth of their child because he was selling meth. He deserves whatever he gets. He probably should do the right thing and tell his son what is going on instead of making Skylar look like the bad guy. Ted is definitely dirty and probably not involved with the cartel. I think the brother in law is connected with Gus. (Remember Gus was in the police station in season 2, probably not a coincidence).
Mostly agree, but Ted may not be connected to the "cartel" per se, but I think he's connected to Saul or perhaps Gus. Most likely Saul.

I clean her up myself after she comes home from work everyday, but thanks for the concern!

Well, they promised things would get more volatile this season, and they haven't disappointed!

I think Ted is definitely part of the Saul laundering scheme.
People don't have excess income on their books. There is clearly laundering going on and the writers love tying everything together.
I can see the look on Skyler's face when she realizes she has been helping Ted launder the money that Walt gives to Saul.

Finally showed your face huh, cocksucker? I knew it wouldn't be long before you woud be over here with you're theories, btw, I tried to ask you on one of the Saints threads I think what do you think of the first 2 episodes? but I guess you didn't comeback or something.
if your theory is correct about Skyler and Ted and Walt and whoever frickin else all being associated one way or the other, it would serve her arse right!

Have I even been on the Saints thread since the Super Bowl?
I purposely skipped the first few episodes so I could do a bit of a marathon.
I like the first three, but I don't see how in the hell our boy Walt makes it through the season with those heavy hitting Mexicans.
I mean I don't see a REALISTIC way out of this mess. A bloodbath would just lead to higher up Mexicans getting revenge.
Walt is going to have to make SOOOOOOOOO much money that the Mexican kingpins kill the brothers to keep Walt alive. That is the only possibility I can think of.

Oh and I freaking loved Jesse screwing his parents over for the house. Jesse may have no money but he has a 400k profit on the house if he ever wanted to sell it.
The preview for next week shows Jesse has definitely joined the darkside.

yes, Mr. Pinkman don't give a frick no more! I could tell when Walt picked him up from rehab, and he prophetically announced to him "you come to realize and accept that you are the bad guy".
Walt had no words of wisdom for him this time, he could only stare.

Exactly. Ted's fricking Skyler in more way than one. She's a patsy,

Before it's all over with Skyler's going to wish she was fricking me...er I mean she's going to regret dumping Walt.

He paid $400K for a house and has no visible means of support. This will attract the attention of Hank. Jessie's already on the DEA's radar; this will make his blip bigger.

Lots of good thoughts/theories in this thread.
The only one I disagree with is Hank being tied to the cartels. Just seems to be a little TOO big of a reach and would strain credulity. That reveal might be the jump the shark moment of the series to me. Now I can see how later in the story that may occur, but I really don't think it happened up to this point in the series.
For those who feel that the panic attacks are due to being an informant and being scared shitless about having to work directly against the cartel as part of the job in El Paso...please explain why the worst part of his reaction was immediately after the head-bomb and more significantly, after he already knew he was reassigned back to his old job away from the cartels.
Seems to suggest against the informant theory and supports his given explanation of basically PTSD that started with Tuco and was made worse with the bomb. You have to keep in mind he seems to not really be a front line guy. When he is involved in busts, he is sitting at a safe distance while other officers cleared the place. Tuco could probably have been his first "real" gunfight where his life was threatened.

A. Because he moved away from the bomb like he knew something was about to happen.
B. Because the writers like to tie almost everything together.
I could be 100% wrong on this. It is just pure speculation. But I do think the writers like to tie everything together, so I wouldn't be surprised at all.
And no, I don't think it would be a jump the shark moment.
If Some hardcore killers that cut heads off on a daily basis, showed you pictures of your family and told you to feed them information or your family would be raped and mutilated, most people would feed the info.
That happens every single day on the border now.

Just now watching but I must say I frickING HATE SKYLER!!

I didn't ask you to repeat what you have already said to support your claim. I simply asked
He didn't get his worst panic attacks from being an informant after going back home because he walked away from the bomb. And he didn't casually make a pathetic excuse so that he wasn't there then the bomb went off. He was traumatized by the sight. And arguing that he moved away from the head as if he knew it was a bomb isn't an ironclad argument either, because if he knew, why did he walk to right on top of it (less than 5 feet) in the first place, then calling immediately attention to himself by having a panic attack and running away. It wasn't like all of the officers where on top of the turtle. There were multiple officers just as far away from the blast as he was (although he was the only one outside of a direct LOS to the bomb).
Similarly, B is only relevant here if you assume that the only way Hank can get involved is by being an informant in season 2.
I am not saying you are wrong...I just wanted your assessment on the theory while looking at all of the evidence. Not just the parts that helps your theory. Hank very well may be an informant. I just see it as a huge leap personally.

And I don't.
The panic attacks could have been stirred by guilt after all those agents were killed.
Going back would also not necessarily mean he would no longer be an informant. So he could still be having attacks, just waiting for the next call.
Maybe they didn't need him so they never called again, but now that he will be back in El Paso, he knows they will call him.
