Or, you don't release anything until you have all of the information. Hell, unless their was foul play I always question why they ever release the information. I often click out of curiosity, but we do not have a "right" to know and they do not have an obligation to report as new information is found

These are the same people mad at the CDC for releasing information as they get it and then updating said information later.

One of my friends' dad hit his head on the bottom of a counter cleaning and didn't think anything of it. Weeks later he started failing cognitively, he ended up having to have a craniotomy to relieve the pressure from his brain bleeding and swelling. This could have easily happened to Bob Saget

CODs I thought were a matter of public record?

All the lurid details etc (if there were any), no.

The dead lose the right to privacy. That used to be the rule, but I know it is changing with Dale Earnhardt, Porsche Girl (DONT google it), Michael Jackson.

In a case like Sagat, holding back info breeds conspiracies.

Is it a matter of public record as they put it out there, or it's open to FOIA requests?

You know, if you didn't say not to google it, I would have just kept moving on

Edit: About what I expected, thankfully I was already planning to skip lunch

Based on this thread, releasing the info also breeds conspiracies

Only among schizos and perverts who see pedophilia codes everywhere. People hit their heads and die from sad freak accidents all the time. Dude was in his 60's. It's sad, but it happens.

Yes, her head is near unrecognizable as human until you see a partial row of teeth.

I believe the family sued the shite out of the cop or EMS personnel who took the pic and their employer. I believe they lost or had to settle for a lower sum because HIPPA and privacy no longer apply to the dead.

I am paraphrasing and poorly.
