Wow.
I never knew what I was missing, now I can't believe I ever enjoyed movies that aren't.
Avatar looks
Also got The Departed, that'll be sweet. What other movies look the best in Blu Ray?

Go to Bluray.com. They have pretty good reviews there.
The Blus I have.
Braveheart
Star Trek
Saving Private Ryan
Forrest Gump
There Will be Blood
The Dark knight
Godfather
Godfather Part 2
Public Enemies
Inglourious Basterds
Reservoir Dogs
All look and sound great. But I will admit Reservoir Dogs has a below average transfer.

Pitch Black is terrific on Blu-Ray.
No Country for Old Men also looks good.
I have the Blu-Ray plan with Netflix, so I have a great opportunity to see what looks good on an HDTV LCD before I buy something. Sometimes the transfer of even recent movies aren't that good. Movies shot on film even as far back as 50 years ago can still look amazing on Blu-Ray, if the transfer is done right.

LOL @ Gladiator. One of the worst transfers on Bluray. Its getting a re-release later this year or early next year.

Whatever you do, never get 28 Days Later on Blu Ray. It looks like absolute shite.

Welcome to the club... finally.
Braveheart
District 9
Star Trek
Coraline, Up, WallE, etc.
Dark Knight
Apocalypto
Just start getting all your movies on blu-ray. Chances are, it will look better than you've seen it before.

Yeah, Pixar looks ridiculous on BluRay. Cars is one of my favorites.

I was about to a couple of weeks ago, until I noticed how many people on Amazon slammed the transfer quality.
Which sucks because that would have been an incredible movie on Blu-Ray.

you realize that Bluray sales were UP 67% last year and increased their number of households by like 75%? That doesnt sound like something that is going away anytime soon. Im not saying that digital downloading isnt the future, it is. I dont by very many BD movies, but when things i really like come out i will buy them and i buy them on BD.
