She's never seen it, so we started season 1 last week. S2 was solid, S3 a mess, but is the original one of the GOAT seasons of tv? The back half of S1 is incredible

florida cut off their tax credits so they had to end the show early. that's why season 3 is such a disaster.

Watched season one. Can't stand the dude with the lisp, and really can't stand him in anything. When he came back in s2 in his ghost form or whatever, i turned it off

Yeah, we loved S1, but lost interest a few episodes into S2. I don't even remember what was happening in S2, or where exactly we left off, just remember we both lost interest.

the guy with the lisp is Ben Mendelsohn. He's actually British and did a great job in portraying a South Florida White trash fisherman. He was also outstanding as King George in "The Darkest Hour".

Ben Mendelsohn is not British, he's Australian. He's been in movies for nearly 30 years. Hell, he was in Quigly Down Under in 1990.

Season 3 was fine until the last 3 episodes when the writers obviously just had to make something up to end the series. Went from being a B+ show to a disaster due to the ending.

The second to last episode might be one of the worst of any series that I have watched. Still don't get what they were thinking.
