what is supposed to be so impressive about her putting a 6 person alliance into the house, having them each grab a side alliance(BB12 and BB16), and "dominating" the game?
She didn't put an alliance in the house. She did put a larger number of black contestants in the house this season to increase the odds of a POC winning.
The impressive part is not a single other person in the house has figured out those 6 have been running the show since the 2nd week. That just doesn't happen often on this show, and there's absolutely no evidence this alliance was pre-ordained or the other houseguests were in some way in on it, as has been suggested in this thread.
As I've said a few times, I think there are legitimate criticisms of the alliance and how this season played out along racial lines. You lose credibility though when you make such ridiculous accusations, especially when you admit you didn't even watch this season.

I've seen more than one post in this very thread mentioning HGs wanting to play their own game, but can't because of "the cause". Sounds like a premade alliance to me.
It happens with all stars. Why wouldn't it happen in a season like this, where it is obvious that they are determined that a black HG is going to win this season?
I've been with BB since the first season. Don't even try to come at me with this shite about needing to watch the tv show to know what's really going on in the house.

gave up on this season weeks ago. another season with a foregone conclusion. No likeable people and an obvious agenda. It's cool if they want to do that, i just won't watch.

The video seems pretty definitive lol.
And where would one see this video, asking for a friend..
I honestly thought they hated each other.

If you haven't already seen them, the first couple of Canadian seasons are pretty solid. BB10 Australia is probably my favorite season of BB.
Pretty sure that all of them are on youtube, if you want to check them out.

I've only seen Kyland say it that way. Tiffany has said if she wasn't in the alliance, she would vote another way, but that's not an uncommon opinion.

One HG mentioning it should be enough of a red flag, especially with Grodner's track record of trying to rig the game to get the outcomes that she wants.
Chima was my favorite HG during BB11(remember the twist that Grodner broke out to totally blow up her HOH and basically their alliance?), so I'll never buy into this season being anything other than a preplanned virtue signal.
That was obvious as soon as they announced how they were going to be casting this season.

I'm pretty sure they've all said it (the cause) at one time or another. I can't quote exact words or episodes though.. Big D and Azah with Brittnie, Tiff with Claire, Ky with SB, Hannah with DX, etc...
I think that's what has a lot of folks pissed off. I can acknowledge the idea of the alliance and the plus-one was brilliant strategy. But I can also be upset because it's based on race only which we aren't that used to on BB.
I accept that times are changing and this may be BB going forward. If that's the case that's fine too.. Just start off with equal amount of blacks and whites and go at it.. At least everyone will know what the premise is at that point and decide whether they want to watch, or not...

I'd just like to know what changed at CBS? This is the same network that broke out a BS Coup d'état twist to screw a black HG out of her HOH and used the DR to convince another black HG that if he went to his HOH alliance member(who was also black) and told her to nominate and evict him, that he would get a "special power".
People still act like Lawon came up with that crap on his own. I can remember seeing him go to Kalia with this brilliant idea right after he left the DR. Really liked Lawon, so I wasn't happy to see this play out.

They've all talked about the cause, but only Kyland has said he'd rather be playing his own game rather than one for the cause. Unless I missed someone else putting it in that manner.

I hated it because it made this season boring. Like most here, I've pretty much stopped watching. And I honestly thought it would fall apart like the all-girls alliance that forms nearly every season.

it definitely would have…
…without a “cause” holding it together

This was just said…
Tiffany to Kyland- She (Claire) did tell Azah "this is a game, Azah". She doesnt understand we havent even been playing the game yet. We have been on a mission. We have been on a mission for the past 10 weeks then we are going to try to play a game #BB23

Video here. Gotta scroll down a bit. They both do a good job of appearing asleep but there’s movement.

Finally, awkwardness sets in with this season.

This convo with Tiff and Claire is a huge crock of shite. Claire playing the role of guilty white girl perfectly.
