Paul should have won

1. Great players (Dan Gheesling, Derrick Levesseur) don't tell almost the whole cast that you are in an alliance with them and you are taking them to the finale with you.

2. The great players didn't have 4 weeks safety in this game, nor did they have 2 chances(seasons) to do it. DRIVES ME CRAZY PEOPLE JUST GLOSS OVER THAT PART. (Meanwhile, they left Cody out to dry to nominate a 3rd of the house in 1 week.)

3. It was shitty gameplay on how he worked jury votes. Josh did a better job on working the jury. Paul played a better game, Josh played the jury better.

4. This was the most star stuck goo-goo eyed cast full of lay-a-bouts in Big Brother history and Paul still lost because he played the jury wrong.

5. Paul lost and the worst winner in history won the game.

A few things

Codys face when they showed Jess swooning over Paul early on...

Even if Josh hadn't done the goodbye messages, people were still going to compare notes in the jury house and figure out how they got played, but it was still smart of Josh.

Also, how do you guys think the votes would have gone had it been Christmas vs Josh?

True. It shows how shitty of a cast this was.

Cast - Matt and Raven are going to need counseling after they find out what the world thinks of them.

the fact that they let a returning player who only lost by 1 vote the season before get back to the final 2 confirms this.

After sleeping on it, I blame Paul's loss way more on Paul than the jurors just being bitter. The way he handled the goodbye messages was terrible. Acting dumbfounded that they all got evicted was stupid. They're evicted, and Paul knew there was no jury buyback. That was the time to be honest with them. That and just blindsiding everyone was a great way to piss people off.

Hopefully Big Brother won't make a 2-time runner up "the new face of Big Brother" like some rumors say.

I agree with this. The goodbye messages weren't the reason he lost. But it's a reflection on how poorly he mismanaged everyone that left the house. It's okay for the jury to compare notes and figure you out. That'll happen regardless. But you need to get ahead of it and be honest with them as they're getting evicted.

Can't say I disagree with this.

Maybe Paul voted for XMAS and that's it. XMAS won 2 HOHs and both thrown to her.

So Christmas basically self-evicted at the end.

Either she has some kind of love affair with Paul, CBS made a deal with her because of her injury, etc...

It just seems like she didn't even put up a fight to stay and not be evicted.

It would have been so awesome if Jessica would have last night said "some of you really need to spend a few days on the internet reading up on what the public really thinks of you"

yeah, she was probably my favorite player from the beginning. but, she didn't do well in challenges.

have to wonder what happens if she doesn't get injured.

did the injury cause her to up her social game? or did she already have a strong social game which combined with actually being a threat in comps could have worked.

hopefully she did this herself.

being a bitch all the time detracted from her hotness.

She finished 2nd overall in Jokers rankings. They don't hate her that bad.

Thinking back, I think it's hilarious how Paul would waste a vote on someone he already knew was going home just so he'd not get the blood on his hands.

Fella thought he had it all figured out.

Yeah another example of how misconstrued his idea of jury management was. The HGs this season were dumb. But they weren't THAT dumb. Throwing a vote their way and then acting surprised won't work every week

That was easily the nail in his coffin.

Like 4 different times:

Paul: Houseguest, if you're seeing this, something went terribly wrong and I'm all alone now.

Josh: It was all Paul's idea. I have a final 3 with Paul and Christmas. You were the target all along.

It worked out for him (and I'm damn glad it did) but I still think it was an incredibly awful decision to take Paul. Josh probably had an inkling but there was no way for him to KNOW FOR SURE that over half the jury would be personally upset enough at paul to basically vote for "anyone but paul". When it comes to speeches and merit and what you can say you've done to deserve it over the other guy, honestly josh on paper shoudn't have stood a chance. He's a piss poor speaker, barely got out rational thoughts, and when it comes to accomplishments in the house paul basically lapped the field. On the other hand, josh could play up the angle with christmas of "she coasted through half the game as a lame duck, and most anythign she won was becuase it was intnetioanlly thrown to her". Not to mention he could say he had the biggest game move of the year by eliminating paul. I thought Josh would be a slam dunk win over christmas and I thought he was a fairly likely loss against paul...but hey it all worked out so whatever. Besides the fact that I don't like josh, I'd say I'm about has happy with the finale as I could be.

100% This, he pretty much talked down to them and insulted their intelligence. I think it was even Jason that pointed this out about them comparing notes together in the jury. All he had to do was not be so condescending in the goodbye messages. That would have gotten him at least one more vote.

I have said so many times that he was playing too hard. He wanted everything to go perfectly and ended up going overboard with it.

Holy shite. I just realized something.

Paul Blew a 3-1 Lead in the Big Brother Finale.

3 Votes for Paul: Christmas, Kevin, Raven

1 Vote for Josh: Alex
