My wife and I were discussing this last night. What is the best movie you and your CURRENT significant other have seen during its initial theater run? Due to having four young kids, we don't catch many movies until they hit a home viewing format so our list to chose from is pretty slim. But some good ones we caught in the theater:
1- Goodbye Lenin
2- Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind
3- No Country for Old Men
What's your #1?

Not sure. I can only remember a couple of movies the wife and I have seen together at the theaters. She's not much of a movie person, and the movies she does like I have no interest in, and vice versa.
I guess I'd say Something's Gotta Give, which I didn't care all that much for. Only other movies I can think of we saw together are Panic Room and The Break Up, but I know we saw more when we were dating back around 2000. Just can't remember any of them.

My SO likes Pixar and other animated movies
I like blockbuster films
So it is probably Avengers or Wreck It Ralph depending on who you ask...been together only 3 years
either way we are terrible at watching films in theaters and have much better movie nights at home.

probably Interstellar. The three we've seen together are:
Interstellar
The Hobbit The Battle of Five Armies
Unbroken

Inception. I loved it, she fell asleep.

It was good, not great. It is an amazing story, that guy was a true hero. But the movie itself was just good, not great.

My SO loves the book for those very reasons...she had high hopes for the movie but based on previews that was the hunch I had about it as well.
So in short...not worth admission price...just wait and rent it.
