When Amazing Amy slices Desi Collings’ throat with a box cutter in Gone Girl. The score by Reznor just adds to the intensity, I don’t think I exhaled during the entire scene the first time I saw it.

great thread.

i just added 'high tension', 'wind river' and a couple other movies from this thread to my collection and somehow i lost my version of true romance so i need to get a new copy.

Jennifer Garner scene at the end of The Kingdom. Well really the last 10-15 minutes of the movie has the back hole a bit puckered.

I’m assuming the movie Haute Tension or High Tension in English, has been mentioned. There is a reason they titled it what they did. That movie was a pure anxiety attack from start to finish. One of the best horror films I can remember in that it was truly horrifying. They don’t mess around in France.
