COP - starring James Woods. Late 80s flick.

It has a great closing line and it goes straight to black after the line is delivered.

rushmore (like i wasn't going to include it)
night of the living dead (the way all zombie movies should end)

I would agree on that one. I go as far as to say that ending alone was able to elevate it from just an average thriller to a good one.

I thought the close of "The Kingdom" was powerful. Prior to that it was just a good action flick.

Boogie Nights had the perfect ending. I'm not saying it's the best, but it gave the character the closing it needed.
