I'm thinking along the lines of a human with a nonhuman. MY top 5 for example:

1. Hiccup and Toothless (How to Train Your Dragon)
2. Hogarth and the Iron Giant (Iron Giant)
3. Aang and Appa (Avatar: The Last Airbender)
4. Hiro and Baymax (Big Hero 6)
5. Lilo & Stitch (Lilo & Stitch)

I'm probably missing a lot more. Chime in!

That was some good stuff. Used to love when the dog would egg on the little chicken hawk to go after Foghorn.
