I don't think it's a remake, it's a sequel… plus it has Villenueve (Sicario and Prisoners) as the director, Deakins as the cinematographer, and an excellent, A list cast including Ford, Gosling, and Jared Leto.
I gaurantee it will be extremely well done and one of the best movies of next year. Blade Runner fans are in very good hands.

The movie "Risen" (came out in February) was much better than this failed remake of which the original was outstanding.
