I watched the Constant the other day, I'm in the middle of my third watch through, going through it for the first time with my girlfriend and she has questions galore every freaking episode.
One of my favorite moments is when John insists they stop pushing the button and the magnetic force starts destroying everything and he just looks at echo and says, "I was wrong.".
Obviously one of my favorite moments to is when they SPOILERS
bury that actress and latino bro in the ground alive because they think they're dead. That's one of my favorite episodes even though it feels more filler than anything

People always get caught up with the ending but the greatness of this show is the journey. The character development was amazing. The way they show how even the most flawed people had a reason for becoming who they were. A few months after I watched the show I felt a strong urge to watch it again because I felt such a connection to many of the characters.

My problem with the show was we were always led to believe there was some sort of reasonable explanation/man made plot behind all of the events only to be in the end left with magic and the supernatural.

t just felt like a cheap out, like the creators never actually knew how they would wrap it up.
I'm firmly convinced that they didn't and when they finally had to end it, they used the ultimate deus ex machina to get out of it: a literal deus ex machina - it was all magic from the gods.

Were you watching a different show?
I was watching the show where the creators straight-up publicly stated for the record that everything was explainable by science or pseudoscience. And everything was, had they chosen to go that route, though it would have been more difficult for them. In the end, they got lazy, and explained everything via magic and "gods", which is the opposite of science or pseudoscience - it's metaphysics.
