I watched part of one last weekend that the wife was watching, and the hottest female on it was the damn grandmother. No idea the name of the movie though.
There are a lot of instances where Hallmark is laughably bad at the age difference thing with the mother/grandmother of the lead character.
Just sort of funny to me to see women like Teryl Rothery and Laura Soltis playing mothers to lead characters who are like 7 years younger than them IRL.
Teryl Rothery
Laura Soltis

Our Hallmark Movie Night got postponed due to some unforeseen circumstances. Wife was glad because she said some stupid Country music movie aired Friday night.
We are going to try again this weekend, possibly for Sunday brunch since it’s supposed to rain most of the weekend.

There's ANOTHER channel that has Christmas movies. ION. They steal the plots from Hallmark and use G list actors. And it shows.
And... who knew there were so many Princes and Princesses that couldn't find love in their home country, so they had to some to America, hide out and pretend to be a normal person just to made a love connection.

Hallmark had one about a runaway princess a few years ago where they weren't even trying.
Usually these faux royals have a British accent to cover their bases, but in this one the princess, her mother, her uncle, her security team, and basically everyone from this country had zero accent and sounded like any random ordinary American. It was like the movie Valkyrie where Tom Cruise just speaks his ordinary dialect and doesn't even attempt a German accent, or Enemy at the Gates where Ed Harris does the same.
Hallmark goes to the secret prince/princess well almost as much as they do the small town festival angle.

At least they don't go to the "Really Santa or the son/daughter of Santa Claus" well. That's reserved for ABC Family or whatever they call themselves now.
But... Ashley Williams has been in more than a few of those...

Don't tell me... it involved a prince in disguise working for a large developer who moved to a small town where Tara ran the bakery which was going to go under and be bought by the prince to turn into a resort until they fell in love and he, going against his employers wishes, helped her save the bakery and relocate the resort to another area. While at the same time running both a failing Christmas tree farm and faltering toy making business. Then he revealed that he was a prince, and had to get married to become King and was in love with her. The end.

A king is a) a bachelor and b) dateless for the Christmas ball. So... his plan is to come to America and look up his old college sweetheart from 17 years ago?
Does Baltania not have any women?

Guessing either Ella or Marianne, or possibly both, fall for Edward along the way.
