I've only seen one episode and that was a repeat with commercials and seemed to be late in the series.

Was it good enough to go order on DVD?

Absolutely.

It's one of those sets that you just got to have. Kind of like The Godfather.

I would be willing to bet that you will not regret ordering it on DVD.

What all these guys said...

I have the box set and I have probably watched the series all the way through no less than 10 times. It is great for marathons on Memorial Day weekend or pretty much any time.

You won't regret buying it. There are a few great features in the box set too like a glossary of the military lingo used and a video diary from the "boot camp" the actors had to go through before filming.

Yes. The story is great, but the interviews with the actual men that saved the world are my favorite. They all say that they were just doing their job, but what they went through was horrific. Thank you to all of our vets.

I see you already got it, but couldn't refrain from saying - yes, it is a kick-arse series that should be on every American's TV stand. Not the shelf, mind you, but the TV stand, opened because a disc is in the player.
