Gotham is already weird in being so dark and gloomy in a universe with folks like Superman and the Flash who could scour it clean during a lunch break. Nolan's Batman kind of doubles down on that.
Batman is almost always better suited for solo outings instead of being part of larger universes, though they can make it work when he's part of the JLA dealing with much larger threats.

Already did some that you chose to look over and avoid, accompanied by a video that you're too lazy watch. If you can't be bothered to watch a video, then I'm way too lazy to type out or copy and paste from places that have went into detail and discussed for over a decade.
