These Final Hours was a pretty wild Australian one

I always thought Damnation Alley was a hoot.
Bad in a great way. When it bombed at the box office (it was supposed to be 20th Century Fox's big science fiction hit that year), all the studio had in reserve to save their asses was some space opera film by the American Graffiti guy.

But that changed ending of The Mist SUCKED.
I see this opinion a lot but I don't get it. A key characteristic of cosmic horror is the feeling of fighting an unbeatable force or entity. They rarely have happy endings.
I do think the ending would have worked better if they didn't reveal the military coming through at the end. They should have just slowly zoomed out from the car until all you see is the mist covering everything.

I don't look back fondly on Seeking a Friend for the End of the World. Kiera and Carrell didn't have any chemistry, and for a rom-com-drama it didn't have any standout moments of romance, comedy, or drama.
Mostly the end made me feel really sad, and the only scene I remember in detail is a horrible sex scene between the two leads.

Night of the Comet
Probably in my top 5 most viewed movies because it was constantly on tv in the 80’s.
I tried watching it a few years ago, and I couldn’t believe how bad it was.

Wolves invading New York on the boat should top this list.
Didn't they just escape from the zoo though? It's at least plausible.
