No one cares about Avatar. This is going to flop so hard. How much money does this thing need to make to break even?

IDk, but early predictions are already trending to 140 mil OW here. It's not going to flop, especially if it plays in China.

Maybe Lang can shine. I heard he’s the villain again.

I think I spotted a Navi in camo w/ a buzz cut, so I assume it’s him. Presumed dead by giant arrow to the chest, I guess the Sigourney scientist’s Navi tech is how he lives on.

So, he might enjoy his new Navi abilities being they’re 10 ft tall, but I’m sure he resents the hell out of it—being stuck in his enemy’s “skin”.

His character has potential at least. Idk about the story

I'm mixed on this one.

But only because I've allowed myself to believe - foolishly - there's a scenario where had this done well, James Cameron would then be convinced to put some of his profits into making a sequel to Alita-Battle Angel.

But there's no way this does well at the box office.

So now I'm hoping Cameron abandons Avatar outright, and decides to instead make a sequel to Alita.

I enjoyed Dances with Aliens well enough and I might even see this one in theatre, something I haven’t done in a few years. The story of the first was simple, but the visuals were spectacular. A second visit to Pandora will be nice, I hope.

Of all the crap James Cameron could waste 15 years and billions of dollars doing, filming a bunch of blue alien crap should be the bottom of the list.

What a load of crap this franchise is.

It took 13 years to come up with Avatar, but in the water instead of the woods.

I've not heard any of that. Smart, if true.

Curious that China allows Avatar but no Marvel movies.

So we're getting them, whether anyone asked for it or not.

Cool.

Avatar is a phenomenon in China, and that is why you miserable retards are once again going to look like reality insulated idiots when this makes nearly a billion in China alone.

Good for them.

Triggered? Sorry if I stepped on your blue cat person loving tail, mate.

It'll NEED to make a billion dollars in China alone, if it's going to continue.

Different strokes for different folks. If the movie does well, fine. Not sure being a Stan for China is exactly the best way to promote this movie, but whatever.

Cameron's on autopilot for this. There's no talking him out of it.
