I can’t help but laugh whenever I see this scene

Dear Grandma, someone once said, "War is hell." But they've never been to fat camp.

That's the best scene in the movie.

In college I'd yell buddy randomly in bars every now and then, and laugh my arse off when I'd get a virus of buddy yells back.

Oddly I've never seen this movie, "Heavyweights". This board's love of it has inspired me to rent it.

Good for you. If you don’t mind me asking, how old are you? My brothers and I are late 30s, early 40s and I think this is the hardest I’ve ever laughed during a first sit down of watching any film. We were kids though. We watched a couple years ago and still had good laughs.
IMHO, that was the peak of Stillers career during that stretch along with “There’s Something About Mary”. He’s made good stuff here and there. “Tropic Thunder” is on my list of greatest comedies ever. RDJ, Tom Cruise and McConaughey were the scene stealers of that movie. What an incredible film. And Nick Nolte playing the grizzled “war” veteran Four Leaf Tayback was incredible.

45. I was a junior in HS when it came out, crazy I never saw it. Ever. I was the right age and everything.
