It's kind of funny that they expect us to believe that type of mask would be able to keep someone who actually knows Oliver from being able to recognize him.

Kind of how Clark Kent wearing glasses prevented people from realizing he was Superman.

Damn.. That was a whole lot of unexpected.

This show doesn't let you breathe much.

The Lazarus Pits must exist in this universe.

I'm guessing that is what Prof. Ivo is looking for on the Island.

But I don't really know how I feel about Merlyn coming back from the dead. They might have gone a little too far with that, even with the Lazarus Pits.

But the villains keep multiplying on poor Oliver. And the ones he does deal with end up coming back. He's definitely got his hands full this season.

Yeah I've been assuming the Lazarus Pits have a connection to the island. The whole Meryln thing shocked me, but not so much as I never was quite sure if he was dead in the first place.

Was that Deathstroke they were showing in the city for the next episode?

I think you guys are right and I also think that this means Tommy is definitely alive and probably in Nanda Parbat doing some training.

I looked at that part again because I thought the same thing but I don't think it was.

I think the flashback story has to go a little further before we see Deathstroke in the present.

How on earth do they have a trial... from opening arguments to verdict in one single day, with a long recess in the middle because the lead prosecutor is having withdrawal symptoms from Vertigo? A trial for what... 504 counts of murder and 1 count of conspiracy? 1 friggin' day?

My thought as well

***spoiler for those that haven't watched last night's episode yet***

Count Pincushion got perma-benched last night.

So Jean Loring was with the Prosecution. Wasn't she
Ray Palmers significant other. Does that mean the Atom isn't far behind?

Loring was with the defense.

And after the verdict, but before they showed Oliver saying the same thing, I was like WTF? This doesn't make any sense. She should be guilty based on what went on in the courtroom.

I thought the writers were slipping up, but then they addressed it right away.

This is just one of those things that gets changed for tv to keep the viewers' interest. It's just like the ace-in-the-hole evidence the prosecution had, in real-world court it would have had to have been entered into evidence loooong before the case went to trial.
