I think you are spot on with that. I was thinking the exact same thing. The history and relationship so far as definitely been between Laurel and Helena.

Cue the mind blown gif. That was a great observation that went over my head. Great job,man. I didn't think at all about the "birds of prey" being laurel and Helena. Thanks for that.

Yeah my guess is that slade kills Sara in the finale, and laurel goes to find huntress to train for revenge's sake.

In the article bamatab posted, the show has plans for huntress in season 3. They made it a point to kill her father no matter what this season. Something will be up.
Maybe instead if green arrow-black canary. The birds of prey will be more like rogue heroes extracting their own justice.

showrunners said tonighs episode couldve been a mid-season or season finale. thats how great its supposed to be.
also, isabel rochev finally returns in the same episode entitled "deathstroke." coincidence? she has to be connected.

I bet they just further her main storyline from the comics.
I would expound on that, but I'm not sure how comics spoilers work in this thread. Will everyone get made if we start bringing up storylines from the comics that could play a role in the show?

idk about everyone but i wouldnt care. the show is EXTREMELY different than the comics. i mean we talked about roy being arsenal, wouldnt that be spoilers from the comics?
and i hadnt even realized but last week was the first time they called slade "deathstroke" when we have all been mentioning him as that.
but if people have an issue, i dont mind either way.

In that case, I think in tonight's episode they'll just further the storyline of her taking over Queen Industries. I she'll turn into a separate threat from Slade, but one that he'll have to deal with simultaneously as he is dealing with Slade.

imo, Roy is far away if ever from being the Arsenal that we know. Arrow's Roy is a bull in a china shop. I guess maybe they could send him down the path of becoming a highly trained weapons master but I'm doubting it.

yeah i agree. hes not arsenal right now. but theyve hinted that he wont be speedy and will develop closer to the arsenal persona. idk if they means weapons master. i think more so just character wise.

Well shite.. Damn. Guggenheim does NOT mind giving scoop on upcoming episodes huh?? I like it. Everything I read in that interview sounds great to me. Especially the bit about Ollie's "secret" identity. That trope is fairly played out and a thing of the past.

Comic talk is allowed in Arrow threads. I haven't read the comics but I don't mind seeing it.

Yeah and mostly the comics don't even impact the show besides Easter eggs and character names. They've done a good job balancing influence and adaptation
