Which made for some... interesting scenes (like Bruce being in the shower and saying "Dick?")
Some of those Batman and Robin comics (especially the early ones) kind of makes you go "wtf???" when you really start thinking about it.

I kind of do hope it's nightwing.

they have to be. who takes a 3 week break, comes back for two weeks, then has to take another break if they are on schedule? idk wtf is going on with that crew.
all the networks do that stupid shite though
and then they turn around and wonder why the ratings for (mostly) serialized shows tend to have issues.
Agents of SHIELD for example has had multiple long breaks.

I get that one of those was due to the Winter Olympics but what the hell did they air a single episode in December, two episodes in January, and a single one in February?
I wouldn't be surprised if a large percentage of audience loss for many a show is due to people either thinking it must have been canceled or not knowing when the hell new episodes air and deciding to wait for Netflix, Amazon Prime, DVD etc.

i can see this. i also think with the popularity of the netflix/amazon model of releasing a whole season at once and leaving it to the view, most might wait for this reason. itll be interesting to see how tv changes in the future because of this.
i personally am not fond of the netflix model. would make threads and conversations like these very hard. look at the difficulty house of cards viewers have had at organizing a watcher thread. everyone is on a different spot in the show.

Oh its for sure why I wait on some shows.
Often if a show looks like something a network won't give much leeway to I just skip watching the first season live b/c I don't want to get invested in something that gets canceled after just 3 or 4 episodes.
I'll do the same if I get behind on a show too. I was a live Fringe watcher but when I was out of town for a month my DVR screwed up so I decided to just wait for DVD to binge watch.

I get that. It certainly takes the social aspect of show watching almost completely out of the equation.
In a way it reminds me of how Google and Facebook tailor your news feed and search results to your past likes and searches which has the negative effect of turning your news feed/searches into an echo chamber that actually causes you to be less informed b/c you never see stuff that might challenge your views.
If all you do is binge watch alone you aren't as likely to talk about the show with others and notice things you might not have or understand something you were too distracted to fully comprehend be it a random running gag or something that goes deeper.

If Dick Grayson is going to make an appearance in the "Man of Steel 2/ Batman v Superman" film due out in 2016, would it make sense to have the same character appear in Arrow? I assume it would be a different actor (though it would be awesome if Warner Bros tied Arrow into the new DC Film Universe). Also, with Fox's Gotham TV series about to go into production, there may be some restrictions on Arrow's ability to tangentially use Bruce Wayne / Batman.

It would be interesting to know what kind of licensing rights Fox has with the Batman characters. Apparently they don't have exclusive rights to the League of Shadows, and those characters were a big part of the Batman comics. But even if they used Nightwing, I very seriously doubt they come right out and throw Bruce Wayne's/Batman's name out there (although I could definitely see a vailed reference to him).
As far a using the same actors for the future DC movies, there was a rumor going around that Amell might have a appearance in a future Justice League movie, but I think he has recently debunked that.

arrow is by far my favorite show on tv. I like it more than WD and TD even though TD was a beast.

it does an incredible job at making each character important and giving each their own motivations. not a lot of shows pay so much detail to their minor characters.
