watching the badassness of Daredevil

That's what I am comparing it to. I'm about to start ep 9 of DD and I just laughed at this Arrow episode. My friends have watched some of the episodes of Arrow with me recently and they all ask why I am watching a soap opera. I always stuck up for the show, since I have watched every episode religiously, but I am done after tonight.

I wouldn't be sad if the gravestone read:
Arrow
2012-2016
"Olicity Killed Me"

Maybe they realize that and are setting it up to finish strong. It's like the writers got in the room. Wrote down everything that was good about the show. Then set those ideas on fire.

Idk how to think, I'm leaning on finishing out the season then deciding to stick with it or not. This season really started strong with Darhk being this indestructible force, but it went downhill after Felicity was shot

I love how they teased Felicity leaving the team then showed her in the preview of the next episode.

Also, please let this be the end of Olicity.

I want to believe this is just a dry writing spell, or that it has a set-up for a dynamite conclusion aspect. But it better get better soon. In the Silver Age of DC comics, Green Arrow was always the boring one. TV series seemed to "fix" that, but now...???

Reddit has renamed the show Felicity and Friends. I approve.

Can they just give felicity and her gay bff a spin-off on E so they can delve into the romantic bullshite?

Surely the writers here these complaints right? I know for a fact it's not just this board. I'm hoping beyond hope that they realized late last year that Olicity was a terrible idea and have since been sacrificing the show to help deal with that relationship with the hopes that the show will get back on track once it's over.

I made the decision after the last episode that I'm giving up on arrow for the time being unless a few things happen. I'm continuing to read the boards I usually do post watch so I can still follow the story, but I'm not wasting my time watching this garbage it has become. The reaction to this episode has proven to me that I made the right decision.

Felicity did bring light and life to a series that was starting to look like Arrow's dismal kill of the week/flashback festival. I do hope she and OQ can work it out.

Sorry kiddies, but this week's episode dealt with real interpersonal issues and did it well.

I guess I'm the only one, but when I started watching Arrow (a show about a guy who dresses in a hood and shoots bad guys) Arrow's kill of the week was kind of what I was signing up for.

Not what dress should felicity where or what color flowers need to be at the engagement party. That's fine to get "real" interpersonal issues in a show. What's not fine is when that becomes the A plot for a season and a half of a show about a guy who dresses up in a costume and fights crime.

What reeled me in to watching was season 1 where we got the kill of the week and the flashbacks. That was the best part. We had minimal sappy shite with Laurel getting fricked over by her sister, , which I liked even more.

Even if people didn't like Laurel's character, idk how anybody could argue that she didn't have the best chemistry with Oliver.
