Great episode. Another cliffhanger...just like the flash and agents of shield last night. I found the fight scene rushed and very poorly edited. Not too mention the highly unlikely outcome when Ollie had 2 swords to Ras' 0.

One of the EP's just tweeted out that episode 14 is called "The Return" but isnt referring to Oliver or Slade. Someone we thought was dead HAS to be coming back right?

Well if Ollie never comes back, at least we have Roy to take over the Arrow mantle. The unnecessary flip/episode count will skyrocket!

haha douchey meter going up tonight over episode count.
anyway, what a fricking episode! great, great call on Thea being the killer. Merlyn is proving to be one of the best villains ever. Talk about strategy and backstabbing. guy knows his shite and always stays in the shadows. so well done. and having that Thea cemetery scene with Laurel made the reveal that much better.
i am really enjoying Brandon Routh on this show. they did a good job with his character tonight. i like the OMAC twist they are playing with. smart.
idk how to feel about this building love triangle between Felicity-Oliver-Ray. i think she will go with Ray, so that my Oliver-Nyssa prediction can come true.
So the fight. I loved it. Ra's shouldve been able to handle Oliver that easily. there really wasnt any other way around that. Oliver is 100% outclassed. I had a feeling they would kill Oliver at the end of the episode. Its a growing trend to kill the title star of a series. The biggest question now is who brings him back and why? will he be crazy after the pit? i dont see us getting those answers for a long time (even once the show comes back). I think they want to focus on the other characters for a few weeks first.

Anyone who says that Ra's wouldn't be able to handle Oliver like that doesn't know much about The Demon. I love that they didn't even give Oliver a chance. And I kind of like the look of this Ra's. Yeah his appearance is definitely different than what I picture Ra's as, but I think the way he carries himself is pretty close.
And Malcolm is a pretty cool character on this show. He is both awfully cunning in the way he set Oliver up, yet such an arse for use Thea like that. I still don't know why Oliver didn't show Thea the video.
I hope they didn't kill Katana off in the flashbacks, but Maseo seems to think she's dead.

i agree. his demeanor (pun) is very spot on. he hasnt been on screen all that much, but i havent minded him so far.

he would probably have to reveal he is the Arrow to her, which he seems desperate to avoid. also, he broke his own window landing like that. found it funny. he knew he was marching to his death. i dont think he wanted to get into all of that before leaving. probably wanted to enjoy the time he had left with Thea.

I think it would probably be best that he did but you gotta admit that its not exactly easy telling someone you love that they unwittingly committed murder (especially of a friend).

I think she's supposed to take up the mantel in episode 10, so I'm not sure it would be her. But episode 13 is supposed to be titled Canaries. Maybe Sara gets a trip to the pits?

Give her a heads up as to how freaking crazy Malcolm is? If I were marching off to my death, and I had proof that someone was manipulating my sister to the point of having her kill people, I think I'd want to give her every chance to get away from the said nutjob before I died.
