Anyone watching Ballers on HBO?

This season has been a huge letdown so far.
They dropped the whole ending of the last season plot and just fast forwarded about a year in time.
Although it always had a little HBO SJW element, they are all out for the #metoo, #feelings and evil white man angles.

Really liked first 2-3 seasons but fell off. Similar to Ray Donovan, they create this great dynamic plot structure and them slowly edge away from it so that after a certain point, you’re not even sure why you’re watching it.

The past couple seasons have been mediocre at best. I’m just watching it to see how it ends at this point.

Just FYI, HBO cancelled it so there won't be anymore seasons after this one.
I watched the first season and was mostly entertained, but overall it wasn't that good of a show.

I liked the first season of The Brink a lot more than Ballers, but they cancelled it.

When a network runs two episodes the first week it's a pretty good indication that the season is going to suck

the last 2 episodes of last season, Spencer just decided to become a baby back bitch and make everybody a victim except the evil white man that he wanted money from.
i enjoy the ricky, vernon, etc side plots, but Spencer was really unlikable and had no redeeming factors last season.
