Speaking your mind about…. what exactly?
(This is your opportunity to say something not about skin color)

On the other hand, a ridiculous number of your posts do fall into the “white martyrdom” category.
“Everyone is out to get the White Man!”

Clever. But no, you don't get to have a character race swapped nonchalantly and then pretend it's completely normal, and there's no agenda behind it.
As I've clearly stated many times, it can be done, sure. But 99% of my input on this matter has been with Tolkien, and the ROP garbage. Goes 100% against canon, and if you have to ask 'buy whyyyyy?', then you don't know Tolkien. And that tells me all I need to know about YOUR knowledge and input on the matter.
Other areas, it's less clear. Which I imagine a TRUE racist would be 100% against it anywhere, all the time, no questions asked. But not being one myself, I'm speculating.
Identity politics is a cancer. Straight up. If you can't see a person for who they are, as an individual, and MUST make some sort of statement by shoehorning them into a story simply because of some agenda, that's on you. I think YOU'RE the racist.

First of all, my conversation wasn't with or directed towards you.
Second, if you're going to offer a quote
"Everyone is out to get the White Man!”
when you're talking about my point of view, then cite who said that quote. I didn't say it. Yet your lack of citation leads any reader to assume you're quoting me.
You aren't.
Do better next time.

It was never even explained why Sue and Johnny Storm were different races in the last movie, was it?
Just for reference sake, it actually was. The biological Storms (father Franklin and son Johnny) were changed to African American for this movie. Sue explained to Reed (while they were sitting at a computer) that she was an orphan from Kosovo adopted by the Storms (yet another change from the source material).

Fair enough, but that needlessly alters the source material for no real advantage to their story.
Same thing happened in the Lost in Space reboot too. 'Judy' was changed to John Robinson's stepdaughter.
Can't introduce NEW characters, must overwrite and reboot established ones, and always it's one way. That's absurd.

This is a really stupid movie, but that change makes sense. It's much easier to sell audiences on the emotional stakes if the characters have a family connection. They don't have a whole season to get to know the characters. With 2 hours, it also helps for them to have a clearly established rapport.
Obviously, all of the above requires an execution that that movie did not have

I was talking about the 2018 Netflix series. Not the late 90’s movie.

The better question is “Why does it bother you so much?”
Race swapping is racist to all races involved. It bothers all decent people.

The dumbest part about this is that show doesn't just focus on the Robinsons, so why did they feel the need to race swap an actual member of the family?

Took half a brain to come up with the "Dr. Smith" twist, which I really enjoyed.
