Shutter Island

I saw this on Prime the other night and seriously considered a rewatch. I've only seen it once and I thought it was intense with a good twist. This definitely makes me want to get back to it.

Care to break down what you didn't like?

I read the book at least a decade before I saw the movie. I think it was done pretty well, book was definitely better but the movie didn't deviate from the flow much. Not sure how to not spoil for people with a small criticism about how Ruffalo's character...evolved throughout the story.

Arrival, I get the movie I just don’t get the hype. Big DV fan too, I like the movie but I don’t think it’s nearly on the level people make it out to be.

Mad Max Fury Road I thought was a decent watch but glad I saw it at home for free. A lot of special effects with over-the-top combat scenes but the story was subpar for me.

To give some background not really a huge fan of the Matrix either. Good movie first watch but not into like so many are.
