Dude whatever. It just depends on the styles you like. All of the 4 sing very well. I can identify better with these 4 singers better this year than in many years past.
I find this years crop to be quite entertaining compared to years past. Winner of this years show will be bigger than some winners of years past (Studdard, Fantasia, Hicks, etc...)
I miss Simon too sometimes but Tyler and Lopez have filled in nicely. Next time, watch it from the beginning to see all of the performances. Last couple of weeks have been a little weak compared to earlier in the year performances.

Sorry to say, but that's impossible. According to Dial Idol, he gets around twice the amount of votes everyone else gets. Dude is bulletproof.

Here's my opinions:
James, a lot of older people like him (i guess bc of old school rock). I do not, but I think idol wants him in the top two.
Haley- most improved by far. She has flashes of greatness and mediocrity. She is down right sexy. I think she will enjoy a very successful career. She has the kind of voice that businesses would call a competitive advantage. Non imitable, unique, and she has the ability to differentiate. She does have some songs that make me scratch my head though.
Lauren- best overall voice. My only concern is her maturity. Very good vocals (losing weight also), she will most likely be famous at some point.
Scotty- he is going to be very successful in the country genre. I am a HUGE alan jackson fan, and I felt like he did a great job with that last night. He, too, is young, but unlike Lauren he is mature and can work the audience. His up beat songs make me want to

At this point it will be a shame if James doesn't win, he hasn't had an off-week really. I started out hating him but he's learned to control his voice and is the clear winner IMO.
As for Haley, the judges don't seem to really like her. I mean they ragged her last week not for her performance but because a song wasn't popular enough. True sign they're agreeing with popularity instead of talent.
Lauren would've probably been better next year, she need to mature some.
Scotty is boring to me, but I know he'll be a success whether he wins it all or not.

I tell this to my 14 year old daughter all the time, she loves Scotty but has no idea who Alfred E is.
I know he gets the max number of votes allowed each week from my kid and all her friends and I assume it's like that all over.

ya'll are making me sad. If Haley goes home tonight, I'm not watching anymore. James Durbin has wore out his welcome. Scotty is good at country and needs to go on to Nashville, I'm bored of his one trick pony self. Lauren is good but scared, she needs to borrow some of gagas confidence. Haley deserves to win. I'd never even heard that second song she sang last night "I who have nothing" but I immediately wanted to know who sang the original to see if it would be a song I would want to buy. Went on itunes to search that song, found out Tom Jones sang it. Listened to Haley's whole recorded version today and concluded that Haley sang it better than Tom Jones! Yea ya heard me! Haley sang Tom Jones song better than Tom Jones!!!!
