I also love how the James haters crack on him insinuating he screams constantly even tho he usually only goes really high once or twice per song, but Haley can growl or whatever you wanna call it for the last 30 seconds and you love her. She is nothing special at all.
Haley could sing circles around James.
I'm not even talking about his squealing, because I like Adam Lambert and he did a similar schtick. But when it comes time to actually sing anything beneath those way high notes (which he inconsistently hits and misses... and missed tonight in the Journey song), his performances have been subpar IMO. When Adam slowed it down, those were his best performances because he can just flat out sing... hit the notes and all.

I don't blame her though. For weeks, she took it like a good sport, but they are on her case every week. Meanwhile, they allow people Scotty to go up on stage, make a mockery of whatever song he's singing, and then praise him as if he is the second coming of George Strait.

This is the worst final 4 ever on idol. Lauren has some talent but is very young, Scotty will find a home in Nashville, Hailey has the looks but is inconsistent, and I don't know what the frick James is....besides annoying.

The judges have praised some really shitty performances this year and then harped on stupid things for other performances. This is the biggest reason Pia got booted. This show misses Simon.

The Final Four should have been: Pia, James, Lauren, and either Scotty or Jacob.
I hope Lauren Turner fron N.O. and Jacee Badeaux from Louisiana try out again next year.

Disagree...up until last night she has stood there quietly and listened to J-Lo and Randy's criticism without a word. Randy was over the top critical of her after the first song! She stood up for herself appropriately....
I thought she did good on the song...thats just me.

the show needs to take a major break...
this top four is without a doubt the weakest ever...
though I confess. I only watched a few episodes...but thats all it took to see how turrible these folks were in comparison to past years..Simon knew EXACTLY where the show was headed..and he bailed b/c he knew the shark had been jumped a long time ago
