perfect setting.

Royal and Gov. Nichols.
Changed owners more times than any other property in the US.
No one has owned it for more than 2years since 1879.
The day after the IRS seized it from Nic Cage, the economy burst. The month after Nic cage bought it he went bankrupt.
The best story was, that the firemen and later preachers hear unearthly chants and screams. Later found to be Senegalese slaves punished and buried inside the walls and floors, still alive.
Bodies were founf sewed together, a live woman had every bone broken and then set so she could fit in a box. This shite would make good TV.
The fire that exposed LaLaurie was set by an old slave who was trying to kill herself.
Also it's the largest house in the Frech Quarter, yet it last sold for $2,000,000 which sounds like a lot, but a small one bedroom condo in the quarter is $700k, this is the largest mansion, and sold for much less than others.

My friends and I did the french quarter vampire tour a couple of years ago and they stopped at the LaLaurie house. It was the most interesting part of the tour and it had nothing to do with vampires.

I've been thinking, maybe since it's set in NO and witches are supposed to be a theme maybe Marie Laveau will play a role in the season?

But it's not the largest single home. The largest un-subdivided home in the FQ is on Dumaine. 4 stories... 22 foot ceilings on the 2nd floor, rooftop sun deck, elevator, 2 bedroom 2 bath "slave quarters" out back in the courtyard. Woman who owns it is a trip.
