Amazing Race Fall 2020
Double bad news. Not only is The Amazing Race not starting Wednesday as intended but this looks to be the preliminary replacement if Survivor isn't able to start filming this summer.

Lol they ran the race in late 2018. That means the contestants will be under embargo for nearly 2 years.

Has anyone here interacted with any of the group at airports or something while they’re waiting for the next leg?
Or do they get their own area to recoup and sleep?

I remember some years ago, one team dropped their passports at a gas station in LA during the drive from the episode 1 start line to LAX. The people who found it figured out they were on the Amazing Race, got it to the lost and found at LAX, and the contestants were able to keep going.
Probably the coolest story of regular people interacting with contestants.

I ran into Phil and a producer at LAX once. I didn't see anyone else so I assumed they were ahead of the contestants.

Huge survivor fan and just couldn’t get into TAR, even though I tried two different seasons.
All that said, would’ve tried it a 3rd time if it were airing this summer, but probably won’t in the fall.
