The right wasn’t “trying to claim” anything. Certain groups on the other side were trying to do that. There’s a difference between fact and lies, I know for you they’re the same thing but in reality they’re opposites.

exactly,its amazing to me how people mess this up.
Kimmel was not fired or canceled, he was suspended indefinitely. He was given an opportunity to rectify the situation, but he chose violence instead.
There has been a lot of discussion on the Hollywood gossip sites that Kimmel is burned out and he is using this as an excuse to go out as a martyr.
The affiliates have a lot of power in these types of situations. Conan O’Brien‘s end at the Tonight Show started with one station in Boston saying they were not following the network’s lead and would air their own programming instead of airing the Tonight Show at 12:30 EST to accommodate the new Jay Leno show at 11:30 EST.
that started in avalanche, Conan left, J Leno was back and that was all it took.

ABC knew what he meant
Charlie Kirks team has now released a statmenet saying that Kimmel meant the kid was MAGA influenced
Kimmel planned on doubling down on what he said, if allowed
Kimmel has not clarified his intent on social media, or thru a lawyer, a rep, or a even a spokesperson
Yet you claim to know what he meant. His team worked hours on the words in his monologue. He didnt misspeak. He read them directly off a teleprompter
The whole Kimmel statement revolves around "one of them". If I show you a picture of a white kid with no tats, no piercings, no dyed hair, and holding a gun. Labeled "grew up Mormon in Utah with Republican, Trump supporting parents" which group is anyone going to say he is one of?
Thats what Kimmel was trying to make an association to. Because MAGA was trying to DESPERATELY attempting to associate him with gay, tranny, furries, antifa etc, rather than the group he looked exactly like

The one thing you seem to miss, is that Kimmel‘s comments came out on Monday. A lot of this info about the shooter was settled by the weekend.
Kimmel has 20+ writers working on his show, including his own wife. This was an overt act. Not satire, not a mistake.
He knew exactly what he was saying and why he was saying it. He pivoted something that really had nothing to do with Trump directly into the path of Trump. Because his TDS is mindrot.
Kimmel saying his comments were taken out of context, then refusing to apologize. A crusader with an amazing lack of self awareness.
Just tells you this guy’s business sense, his feelings of obligation to his staff and his common sense are long gone.

Of course they weren't. It was always clear the shooter wasn't MAGA. There's nothing to distance MAGA from.
ETA: To be clear, pointing out that the shooter was obviously a leftist is not "distancing from." It's stating a fact.

No BS, I went looking for MSM quotes of Carr’s ACTUAL statements and it was a struggle. Every single article had editorializing on the statements, but none of them had complete quotes of what he said with no editorializing.
I had to go to the videos themselves of what Carr said just to see exactly what his words were. Benny Johnson and CNBC videos. If I didn’t alreadyknow where to look, I wouldn’t know where to find the actual true information.

And this is what's so obviously misleading about our media these days. They won't provide a full quote because they want you to come to their own conclusions instead of making your own.
