July 5, 1989- The first episode of Seinfeld aired
“The Pilot”

And from there one of the best shows in TV history

Crazy to think a show I wasn’t even alive for the first couple years and I still watch it any time I’m flipping through and there’s a re-run on TV.

shite, I got Hulu just to watch it

Cheers to Seinfeld

Yup!
Basically most of my viewing is from Hulu and re-runs

Still my favorite sitcom of all time

i started watching in the 7th grade with my dad. I think it was the 8th or 9th season, which was perfect for a kid because those were all of the absolute ridiculously absurd episodes Frogger, Merv Griffin, etc. Loved those, and the Merv Griffin remains my favorite episode to this day.

“The Letter” was on last night where Jerry’s girlfriend paints Kramer and they make George pay for a painting

I watch it every night on the CW. Always catch the 10:00 showing, sometimes the 10:30.

So which is it... “Cheers” or “Seinfeld?”

J/K ... Seinfeld had the best casting of main and supporting characters. The only recurring cast members that missed the mark for me were Jerry’s parents and his uncle.

We were huge Seinfeld fans (and Richard Lewis, Leno...) from his run of appearances on Letterman. When his show premiered, we taped it like it was our home team's Super Bowl.

Luckily there was another guy at work who was obsessed, so we could yell early catch-phrases like "RED SHIRT! RED SHIRT!" while people didn't know what the frick we were talking about.
