I'm betting it was the Russians. The whole scrambled call thing he put on his phone. And we know they're in play from Boudreau. I think Bratt's character sold the intel to the Russians, then framed it on Morgan's hubbs and is trying to get her out of there before it gets found out. Except President Heller wanted Jack, and Jack wanted her, etc.
Thought it was the Chinese her husband allegedly sold secrets to, not the Russians.
This of course bring back memories of season 6 when Jack's dad was working with the Chinese if I remember correctly. He said China would eclipse the US in 20 years etc and wanted to give Jack's nephew a chance in a country that would be the better than the US. I wonder if it's the Kabal/Syndicate group we saw in season 5 and 6. The one where Jacks brother Graham and father (Phillip) was involved with. Don't know if it was disbanded or destroyed with Phillip's and Graham's deaths but it be a nice bit of continuity to bring back and also a chance for Jack to strike back at the group that was after him in S5.
This is why I think this mole plot isn't part of the current main threat but will be the next main threat.

This is a great spot, although I find it tough that they would write any connection into what was pretty much the worst season of the show.
But I like the analysis.

I missed that.
And Morgan reminds me of a more badass Olivia Dunham.

Yeah. It might be a bit much for this season especially since we are half way through. But it could lay ground work for the final season, assuming we get another season of 24. If they could bring back Mandy who could be employed by the Kabal/Syndicate group it could tie together the series as whole, for the most part, and be a worthy task for Jack to take it down and put a nice little bow on the series. Like I said early and others I think agree: 24 should not end with Jack back with Audrey, or any love interest for that matter. He has lost so much so often. All he has left is Kim and grandkids. It should end with him being reunited with them or dying (for real this time) taking out the Syndicate.

Was Chuck really that good? I never watched it. Maybe I should. It would give me something to stream through a bunch during the summer months.
Dunham had the whole special powers thing going on, but she didn't have that badass persona. Don't take me the wrong way, I loved her on Fringe. But the character wasn't meant to be a badass.

Why do people on this show always give in to terrorists' ridiculous demands?
Posted on 6/9/14 at 9:05 pm to LE610N
That was one of the better episodes of the season, I thought.
