I wanted to see this movie but the casting of Tatum has turned me off. What's Depp cameo of?

Meh.. it was alright.

Definitely not as funny as I thought it would be, seems like they tried to hard.

I think of his 21 Jump Street character. It was kind of surprising at what scene it occurred in.

Movie seriously takes a giant shite all over The Other Guys. So much better in doing a similar thing. I want Tatum in more comedies - he wasn't just tolerable, he was good.

Just got back.

Worth the hype. Tatum, Hill and Hill/Tatum were incredible.

Good story line and just incredible. The whole theater was dying laughing the entire time. #realtalk

Wife and I saw it this weekend and it was hilarious. It had a more mainstream Scott Pilgrim Vs the World feel to it, which is funny since it had at least 2 people from SPVTW in it. They did a nice job saluting the TV series with several cameos, not just one, and made an almost instant knock on itself and the movie industry for dragging up old shite from the 80's when they are supposed to be the "creative force".

Glad I saw it in the theater.

Tatum gets a lot of hate on this board. I thought he was really funny in the otherwise unfunny movie The Dilemma.

Saw it Sunday night and loved it. Jonah Hill is quickly becoming a favorite of mine.

POSSIBLE maybe SPOILERS:

I shite my pants and cracked up during the "hotel room scene". Specifically the line about the nose. IDK why

I was in tears laughing at certain parts. Funniest movie I've seen in a long, long time.

FWIW, 92% of audiences like it on Rottentomatoes. For comedies, I tend to think this is a better barometer than the critics, but if both the critics and the audience like it... sounds very promising.
