Netflix apparently has something called the '28 day rule' now and so if not enough millions of people watch the complete season in 28 days, they axe it.

So if you like a new show on Netflix, you probably should watch the whole season within a month and tell people about a show you like so they will too.

Too many people waited too long to dive into this one. The December release probably had something to do with that.

We just finished Episode 5 last night. This show is insane. It's Lost meets Event Horizon like a previous poster said. It's crazy and I love it!

I guess I don't understand what Netflix expects from each release. They already have a large number of subscribers and it's not like people unsubscribe because of one show they don't like. There's so much on Netflix's catalog that it's not possible to watch everything. If Netflix was willing to invest in a few seasons of a show, why not go through with it? Can they really keep focusing on obtaining new subscribers?

Just finsihed it and I'm kind of pissed that they canceled it.

frick them for wanting everyone to binge their shows in the first weekend it drops and then re-binge it over and over the next month to keep a show going.

A dense arse show like this is NOT something you fly through and to expect everything to be massive instant hit or it gets immediately canceled is a horseshite and is becoming a self fulfilling prophecy on Netflix shows not being able to get conclusions.

shite like this has me just about done w/them. Probably won't renew if they try and ding our account for password sharing.

February or March would have been perfect for this show to debut. A December release cause it to get lost in the Holiday planning, parties, Christmas movies, shooping, stress etc.

I don't think they expect people to binge a new show multiple times though, but they are punishing shows that don't get watched all the way through in the first month by millions.

I guess they didn't want this show to take away from Wednesday if they had released it (1899) in November, but I just think a December release for 1899 never gave it much of a chance.
