What an episode.

I really had no idea how Emily was going to save everybody and then she up and goes and pulls a rabbit out of her arse. She really is a master schemer.

I think Emily knew that the Graysons would have lee whacked in prison so that's why she chose him to take the fall. Fortunately for her, she learned what happened with her father as a result.

She is fricking pissed now and because of that, more epic episodes are in order for us folks. Can't wait!

I had that same thought too. That's twice now we all thought Daniel was dead.

That night on the beach and now this.

I love moments like that watching movies and TV where you are convinced something has happened when it's really the opposite.

I thought Daniel hung himself too for a second.

That was an awesome twist though. Also with Emily realizing that the Grayson's killed her father, it's about to get real. I'm with all of y'all on this show, just when you think you have it all figured out....you get boomed with something new. Love this show.

I knew Daniel was going to do something stupid when he started drinking. I thought he was going to follow her and not just go over to Emily's house. But what a dumb move by him.

Yes, but it has some really really really lazy writing at times. In the last episode a bloody hoodie is planted in a car and the police are able to connect it to a murder when there was no connection for them to pursue.

They even typed the blood and showed it match the murder victim's blood that very same night.

That's just plain sloppy writing.

You think Amanda didn't call the police and tell them everything they wanted to hear? Really!?!

Disposable phone, call police, tell them you know who killed tyler, that he resurfaced and is at a bar in blah blah blah.. police go in looking, find it.

P.S: I thought daniel was dead too.. I don't want him to die for some reason, but he really needs to leave Amanda.. that relationship is so bad for him.

ETA: P.S.S: Time was very relative in this episode.. it is very possible that from her stealing the sweater to the hanging scene, could have been multiple days.

The entire series is nothing but lazy writing. When the DA was questioning Declan she recounts what Charlotte said even though Charlotte had never taken the stand as a witness.

That was pretty bad.

So why did the cops say the car was wanted in connection with an Amber alert? The arrest had nothing to do with a murder.

That's possible but that scenario supposes it took Lee days to contact Victoria. Plus Daniel is writing his letter to Amanda following his arrest when Lee was hanged. I doubt if days had passed.

I tried

I wont stick up for the writing.

Still though, I view this show as 100% relative time, just like 24.. 24 never actually happened in 24 hours, it was more like 24 days.

The time between the guy hanging himself and the phone call was like 5 days, the time between his phone call and him being picked up was like 7 days. oh well

Hey, I watch the show despite the writing. I'm hooked even though I know the narrative is contrived.

Maybe the writers wanted to make sure the audience (us) realized that Charlotte could never testify after that point? I don't know courtroom rules, but it would seem his statement basically would have been a "DA" script to make sure the defense could never use Charlotte.. for anything.. after that point.

I understand the point you're making but no DA worth their salt would ever attribute testimony that sheds doubt on the guilt of the defendant. By saying Charlotte saw another person on the beach it provides the jury something to think about. It just never would have happened,

I'm not sure if I would use the word infallible when describing Revenge but it is an addictive show. I can understand why people watch even though we could rip the show's writing apart with little effort.
