I know Neil Weiner applied before when they chose Howell. He was still at RHS and they shortly took the CHSPC gig. Like someone said before, I would love to see the short list of coaches that apply.

the br area is starving for good coaches.id bet neil weiner would be a nice hire.new orleans has some good coaches.

I wouldn't call him the best. He's a good person and a decent coach. Great probably not. I think their is more to this story than we know.

Out of curiosity what is the compensation for a coach at a school like Zachary? Does the HC have to teach a few PE classes and get standard teacher pay or does he get an above average salary?

From what I've heard he was making nearly twice as much as the baseball coaches.

Yep,
Lemoine is the reason Kentral Gransbury went to Woodlawn.
Lemoine wanted Gransbury to play football at Lee, Gransbury only wanted to play basketball. So Lemoine waited for Gransbury to make the slightest slip up and forced the basketball coach to kick him off the team(Lemoine was AD at the time).
Gransbury transferred to Woodlawn, then went to LSU then to South Florida.
