Fair amount of evidence that Smith never hit his wife (the wife's mom has stated this in 2 recorded interviews). And that the Herman's gave the wife substantial amounts of money while the takedown of Smith/Meyer was cooking.

So the incident in Gainesville, years prior, was just a practice run?

According to the criminal complaint also obtained by Eleven Warriors, "Mr. Smith took his son to his ex-wife's residence (redacted) to drop him off after being instructed by Ms. Smith not to come to her residence and disregarding a previous criminal trespass warning that had been given to him by Detective Pentz on Dec. 19, 2017 at 2 p.m. The incident was witnessed by Ms. Smith and their son along with photographs of Mr. Smith's vehicle being present in her driveway. Mr. Smith also admitted to Sgt. Roach that he was present on Ms. Smith's property and acknowledged receipt of the trespass warning given to him by Detective Pentz."

So, there may have been a restraining order in place in 2019 at the school - but not in 2018 at the wife's driveway
.

IF you closely followed the events in 2018, you would know these things. If you follow nothing but the media narrative, then bless your heart.

The wife thought she had a restraining order because a cop advised Smith to stay off the property. She didn't. And the law in Ohio would have required a fenced yard and a closed gate to justify a criminal trespass charge for pulling into a driveway.

You and Kramer are clueless on this... but you don't know it. But keep posting about it, LOL

How could anyone ever hire him again when he makes comments like this?

Link me to any post I made in this thread that's inaccurate.

Sorry you didn't know all the facts of the situation.

^^This post of yours is inaccurate as to the incident that led to the media blitz, and to Smith and Meyer losing their jobs.

It was the event in the ex-wife's driveway in May of 2018 that caused the media shitstorm.

Meyer and Smith were both off the Ohio State coaching staff when the school incident occurred in 2019.

This.

Both of these guys are shitheads, but Smith is worse because he's an abusive rageaholic a-hole.

So what?

Meyer gave Zach his first break in coaching as a GA at Bowling Green, and hired him at Florida and Ohio St. And Meyer was the closest friend of his uncle, coach Earl Bruce.

Was he arrested for the incident at her house?

What's inaccurate about what I posted?

Enjoy your weekend, friend!

The arrest was for Smith pulling into the ex-wifes driveway to drop off the kids - after she failed to show up at a neutral spot. She was waiting with a camera when he pulled in to show to the cops to claim violation of a restraining order - and there was no order - just a cop who told him he should stay off the property, from a year before.

This was what you posted.

There was never an arrest for this incident. He was arrested for the violation of the CPO for the elementary school incident.

That was my entire point and you won't admit you're wrong, per usual.

That legal point was argued for weeks on OSU boards. I tend to agree that it was not technically/legally an 'arrest'. But it was certainly the event that precipitated the shitstorm that cost Smith and Meyer their coaching jobs.

Are you still schlepping sugar water on the Eastern Shore?

(And that WASN'T your entire point. It was the only part you got right.)

I asked you to show the posts where I was inaccurate and you can't. And you called me out as "wrong," "inaccurate," and "covering for a face plant."

Hacks gonna hack.

Enjoy the rest of your weekend!

Well, he was found guilty of the violation of the protection order, so one had to be in place.

He was found guilty of violating a protection order, but not the event you were discussing. The protection order was never a part of that event you discussed(he was formerly tresspassed, no CPO in place at that time), but that was the basis for CPO which he later violated at the elementary school. Not hard to understand.

You were referring directly to the driveway incident when you claimed, "so one had to be in place". You were wrong about that.

Too funny!
