Cal Ripken's game when he broke the record. I watched that game and the crowd was electrifying.

To the event that helped solidify New Orleans as a sports town: November 1, 1966 at the Pontchartrain Hotel, Pete Rozell announces that New Orleans has been awarded an NFL franchise
