What excuses? Wisconsin won and controlled the game. WMU was playing at two-possessions behind nearly the entire afternoon. I was responding to a poster that didn't watch the game. Struggled? Please.

Anyway, seems that this will turn into "beating a dead horse," so I wish you luck waiting until next football season. Wisconsin is onto basketball.

2. Alabama/Clemson
3. USC
4. Florida State
5. Oklahoma
6. Penn State
7. Michigan
8. Oklahoma State
9. Wisconsin
10. Ohio State

I think 1 and 2 are clear-cut, unless someone lays an egg in the NCG (not likely). 3-5 are interchangeable.

PSU at 6 seems the most likely, but 7-10 are also interchangeable

The problem is that you quickly run out of top 10 teams.

#11 Colorado- lost to OK State
#12 Western Michigan- lost to Wisconsin
#13 Oklahoma State- def. Colorado
#14 West Virginia- lost to Miami
#15 Louisville- lost to LSU

Other than OK State, you have to go all the way to #16 to find a team that actually won outside of the top-10. Michigan and Wisconsin should both be in the top-10, even if by default

Can't believe a word you say, there is no LSU in your top 10.

Michigan might not finish top ten THIS season

They are losing 40 players, many key starters, and some believe they will be top ten next season ?

This thread is truly embarrassing

Didn't win their conference, didn't win their division, didn't score a single point in their bowl/playoff game.

Ohio state has the least amount of losses in the conference, they have more good wins than any team in the conference, and they have the strongest ooc schedule in the big 10. The loss against Clemson was ugly but everyone here is overreacting big time dropping ohio state out of the top 5.

I can't put Oklahoma at 3 because Auburn seemed like the weakest New Years Bowl team. Ohio st also has the head to head win and a stronger schedule.

1. Clemson/Alabama
2. Clemson/Alabama
3. USC
4. Washington
5. FSU
6. Ohio State
7. Oklahoma
8. Penn State
9. Wisconsin
10.Michigan

FSU and Michigan St got dropped to 6th after they got their asses whipped in the playoffs. The curse of the #3 seed begins.

2. Clemson
3. Washington
4. Ohio St
5. Oklahoma
6. Florida St.
7. USC
8. Penn St.
9. Wisconsin
10. Oklahoma St.

No they aren't. Besides getting completely demolished in the bowl game, they squeaked out wins against Wisconsin, Northwestern, and MSU.

I'll give them credit for the win at OU. But dropping them for their performance Saturday is no overreaction as far as I'm concerned.
