Jordan would kill Lebron in 1 on 1.

He had an entire career to perfect that type of play.

of course, dude's a much better and more proficient paint player, probably block a few of MJ's shots too

Jordan played 1 on 1 for his entire career and was one of the most prolific scorers in NBA history.

LeBron is incredibly well-rounded, but he isn’t the one on one player that MJ was.

You would think you guys never played one on one. Lebron drives to the paint and scores over and over again and Jordan isnt shooting 100%.this is one on one theres no help defense to stop lebron

Better question is Jordan vs Kobe, both have identical styles of play almost to a T

In that case some wide load low post player could just back either of them down and score every time.

They have to dribble successfully past Jordan to get to the post first, Boom

Nope. Just back him down. It’s that easy right?

I refuse to take this thread seriously.

But Lebron in his prime would be hell to back down and score on. His ability to get up as quickly as he can mixed with his strength is just ridiculous.

This is one of the most casual fan takes of all time. You're acting like Jordan was some weak bitch and LeBron has some unstoppable post game. Jordan is the biggest Alpha the sport has ever seen. That's one of the reasons why he was so great. LeBron isn't continuously backing him down in a game of 1 on 1 That is a recipe to get his arse kicked.

Jordan is one of the greatest defenders to ever play the sport, and I wouldn’t sell LeBron short on the defensive end either dude was all-defensive first-team multiple years at the apex of his prime

That is so dumb. Lebron is bigger, stronger, and faster and not by a little. Jordan couldn't stop Lebron backing him down or going around him, and Lebron would put a lot of pressure on Jordan. Jordan was a better team player in his 30's, but Lebron would have very little trouble one on one.

Somebody like Garnett would be a lot more challenging to Lebron on on one bc of his agility and length.

Rose was one of the fastest players ever at his peak, and Lebron shut him down with his own speed.
